You're welcome here.

We're students at Columbia, NYU, CCNY, and Pace who started gathering around a few questions worth taking seriously. Curious, skeptical, somewhere in between — you're welcome. During the week we meet on our own campuses. Saturday nights, we all come together at Columbia.

A space for the questions everyone's afraid to ask.

College is a season of enormous pressure and enormous possibility. We started R20 because some of us were navigating all of it — the academic weight, the social searching, the quiet questions about purpose and meaning that don't fit neatly into a syllabus — and figured we'd rather do it together than alone.

Somewhere in those questions, we found something real in Jesus — and we're still figuring out what that means together. You don't have to believe any of it to be here. Wherever you're landing with all of it, there's room for you.

We're students across Columbia, NYU, CCNY, and Pace — and growing. Bible Hangouts on campus during the week; Saturday nights, we all come together at Columbia.

Why We're Doing This

What we're building.

People who walk in skeptical find a community. That community shapes how they live. And the people who were welcomed start welcoming others.

01
Found

You don't have to believe to belong. Come as you are, skeptical or sure, and find a community that wants you here.

02
Formed

In Bible Hangouts and on Saturday nights, people grow — slowly and honestly, for the long haul. Real change, not a quick fix.

03
Fielded

The people who found a home here start building one for others. New hangouts, new faces, across the city.

Saturday Nights

Come as you are. Seriously.

Come to R20 Nights

How the night goes

  • Music
A live band leads 20–25 minutes. Sing along, stand, sit — whatever works for you. No pressure, no performance.
  • The Talk
About 25 minutes — practical, and built around the questions students carry.
  • ?
    Open Q&A
After the talk, we open the floor. Ask whatever's on your mind — about what was just said, or about faith in general. No question off-limits, nothing rehearsed.
  • Hanging Out
Coffee, desserts, and real conversation after. Stay as long or as little as you want.
  • +
    Prayer, if You Want It
If something's heavy and you want someone to pray with you, we're around. No spotlight, no expectations — just ask, or don't.
  • No Awkward Moments
We won't ask first-timers to stand, speak, or do anything uncomfortable. You're here to check it out — that's enough.

Connect

First time is the hardest part.

Showing up somewhere new is a real thing to do. We know — most of us were in your spot at some point. We try to make the first step easy, and the second step worth taking.

No follow-up spam. We'll reach out sparingly — a friendly nudge, not a campaign. That's it, unless you want more.

No pressure to join anything. Come hang out. Enjoy the coffee. See how you feel.

Questions welcome. Doubt doesn't disqualify you here. It's actually why we exist.
